Ginny & Tom's beautiful day was in September. When we met, they both expressed that they wanted a beautiful and relaxed day, Ginny mentioned that flowers would feature heavily in their day (which she adored) and they looked stunning and definitely didn't disappoint, their marquee took my breath away! They chose to get married at St Andrew's Church in Leysters which is very close to Tom's Dad's farm (Herefordshire). We met ahead of their day in June on a beautiful afternoon and captured their pre-wedding session at the farm and in the neighbouring fields by the pretty church, their daughter had a lovely little picnic whilst watching us in the sun!
Ginny chose to prepare for her wedding at The Bringewood which is close to Ludlow in Shropshire, The Bringewood was home to their reception too, the drive to it from Malvern is filled with beautiful Herefordshire countyside, some of the last few miles go through a pretty wood but it was easy to find and the views are breathtakingly beautiful up on the hills overlooking the valley, the hills rolling out to the distance and a nearby field filled with a flock of sheep!
I adored their beautiful, rural, rustic and vintage feel to their day - there were lots of farm and country influences which made the day so personal with both of them coming from a country/farming background.
Ginny designed her beautiful dress - she chose elements that she liked from different dresses to help create the perfect dress for her, it was then made by Jennifer Bone at My Little Wedding Shop in Bridgnorth - a few brides have had their dresses made here and they've all been so incredibly beautiful, the detail is stunning.
Lauradana Day of Wedding Creations was responsible for the venue styling, she styled the marquee, place names, seating plan and supplied some of the items for the centre pieces too. I've worked with Lauradana a few times and her vision is always amazing, she creates the most beautiful looks and works so incredibly hard.
Charlotte of Charlotte Fenwick Flowers were Ginny & Tom's amazing Florist.
We had the most amazing sunset with beautiful glowing light so we stepped out during dessert to capture some stunning portraits of them both, I think they were worth it. They're some of my favourites from their day.
Their evening was filled with lots dancing (including a dance of Cotton Eyed Joe from their Young Farmer days!), the dance floor was packed the entire time I was there - Hot Climate supplied the evening's entertainment and they are amazing! I've seen them play before and they bring so much fun and great music to an evening!
I received a beautiful thank you card from them both featuring one of their photos from their day. They said
"Hayley, Tom & I just wanted to say a huge thank you! We love the pictures. You remained calm when I wasn't. Capturing beautiful moments - we cry every time we look at the one of Tom's Granny! Thank you, thank you, thank you! xxx
Are you planning a wedding at The Bringewood or a rural, country or farm wedding and looking for a wedding photographer? I'd love to hear from you and talk about your day and plans. I love to capture emotions, the story of your day and all of the beautiful details!
