Maternity Sessions

Pregnancy is a truly special time in your life, your body undergoes the most amazing of changes throughout your journey of growing a new human, your baby. What better way to remember how special it was than with a bespoke maternity photography session.

I photograph both Mum (and Dad) to-be in a natural or studio setting (and if you’d like older sibling(s) to-be or your dog they can be included too!). Perhaps you’d like your photography session at a special place; an orchard, a park, the Malvern Hills, your garden, riverside location, something more urban - the possibilities are endless!

My aim for your session is for you to feel wonderful, confident and empowered. I'd love for you to celebrate your body and all those amazing changes it's going through whilst growing your new baby 

Pricing includes:

• A pre-session consultation - Your consultation can either be in person at my studio just outside of Malvern (Worcestershire) or by zoom or telephone. We talk through your session, ideas, colours and styling so that your pregnancy session is completely tailored and personal to you. By the end of your consultation we will have a clear idea of the types of images we'll be capturing (although on the day this is very flexible), the styling and colours. You'll feel prepared and have an understanding of what to do ahead of your session and what to bring with you to your session so that eveyrhting runs smoothly and you can relax, enjoy and truly embrace your session. 
• A bespoke photography session lasting up to 2 hours. Your maternity session is tailored to suit you personaly and your requirements
• Studio sessions include the use of my studio maternity wardrobe which features an array of stunning dresses/bodysuits/fabrics/accessories and props if you’d like to use them - I do encourage this, they're stunning and it's rare that we get to make the most of a very extensive beautiful wardrobe. I have so many styles and colours of dresses/fabrics etc in lots of colours. 
• Your viewing and ordering appointment after your maternity session - this appointment is held at my studio where you view your stunning images via a slideshow and choose which collection you'd like.

Frequently Asked Questions 

How many weeks pregnant do you recommend capturing a maternity session from and to? 

I suggest booking in as soon as you know you would like this precious and very memorable time in your life captured. I recommend having your maternity session captured some time between 28-33 weeks gestation. However I have captured sessions beyond 33 weeks due to late bookings and ladies just considering about having these moments documented for them to look lovingly back on. 

Do you supply outfits?

Yes for studio sessions. I have a huge selection of fabrics, bodysuits, dresses, gowns and more in a variety of colours, styles, cuts, material - you really will be spoiled for choice, my outfits have been sourced from all over the world to ensure you have something really beautiful to wear and feel special in.

What about hair and makeup?

Hair and makeup isn't included within your session fee however many ladies do go to a salon before their session to have their hair styled. Some ladies ask for makeup recommendations and some choose to do their own before their session and touch up whilst here if necessary

Can my husband/partner/wife/child/dog be included too?

Yes absolutely and I encourage this! Husbands/wives/partners are very gently encouraged to be part of your session and we go through in your consultation the ways in which they are included, what to bring and wear. Children - I recommend that they come for the family photos and mum/child part of your session. Well behaved dogs are so welcome to join you for part of your session (we'd discuss ways to facilitate this). 

What is included? Can I buy all of the digital images and do you sell wall art? 

There are several package options for you to choose from including an option to purchase your complete gallery of digital images along with your full slideshow. I offer the most beautiful selection of wall art including stunning framed prints, round acrylic pieces, birch blocks, albums and more
