Nicola and Elliott chose just before Christmas for their special day and they picked the stunning setting of Birtsmorton Court. Birtsmorton Court is set in the most beautiful of countryside locations near Malvern in Worcestershire (West Midlands). Every time I get to visit and work here, it takes my breath away, it's a magical setting with so many beautiful options of where to have your wedding ceremony and the stunning grounds allow for the most incredible photo opportunities! Nicola & Elliott chose to have their wedding ceremony in the Great Hall which is located within the Manor in the centre of the moat. Elliott dreamed of marrying at a venue with a moat when he was a child - his dream came true! Their reception took place in the marquee which is a lovely light, bright blank canvas and their evening reception opened up into the Garden Room with a ceiling filled with lots and lots of fairy lights which help to create a lovely ambience!
The ladies chose some of the beautiful accommodation on the grounds to get ready and later went into the bridal suite for the final preparations. Jenny Fleur (who is based in Malvern and an amazing florist) created the bouquets, button holes etc for their day. Elegant Bakes by Elizabeth made Nicola & Elliott's beautiful cake(s) in multiple flavours. Nicola's bridesmaids were dressed in Little Mistress dresses (which seem to be a very popular choice over the last year!)
I loved the candy cane place name holders - they added a lovely subtle hint to Christmas without being too Christmassy and their tables featured tree centre pieces surrounded by wreaths with 100s of fairy lights which looked lovely as it grew darker outside. It was lovely to see their dog Stanley make an 'appearance' in the form of a stunning portrait that Nicola's parents presented to them during the speeches, I fell in ove with Stanley when we met for their pre-wedding session up on the Malvern Hills.
Enjoy looking through their beautiful Winter/Christmas wedding!
